Full-Stack Developer _
I build web experiences from the ground up — front-end to back-end. An African developer building for Africa, with deep local context and continental-scale ambitions.
I'm a Full-Stack Developer based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania — building web experiences that work for real people in real African contexts. Graduated from Arusha Technical College with a Bachelor in IT, and sharpened my skills as an IT Specialist at TANESCO.
My edge? I understand the market from the inside. Local context, Swahili fluency, and the ability to build products that actually make sense for this continent — not just clones of Western ideas dropped onto African soil.
Currently building AfriNomads — a platform for Africa's tech community to discover co-working spaces, events, and opportunities.
A full product-based e-commerce site with listings, cart, and inventory management — built for a local Dar es Salaam business. No payment integration (yet).
A non-profit website with a working donation button and payment integration — built to help an organization raise funds online.
A conversion-focused landing page built to drive leads and present a business offer clearly and compellingly.
A professional company website built for a friend's business — clean, fast, and mobile-responsive with a full contact system.
AI is being built by wealthy countries, for wealthy countries. A developer from Tanzania on why replacement vs empowerment is a design choice — not a technical outcome.
The rules have changed. Here's how to break in and stay relevant when AI is rewriting every job description in real time.
World class isn't a destination. It's a standard you set when nobody is watching — and hold even when everything is working against you.
Building from within Africa isn't a disadvantage. It's context nobody else can fake — and that context is becoming the most valuable thing in tech.
Thinking about a new website, a problem to solve, or just want to connect? I'm based in Dar es Salaam and available for freelance projects locally and remotely.
